An elegant all new look
We at Vuau love a challenge, so being tasked with recreating the new layout for the website of a leading camping, tent and trailer reservation company was an exciting prospect.
Garden Sharing is the portal dedicated to those who love free tourism, traveling by camper, caravan or even just with a backpack and a tent to pitch in a place surrounded by nature. Users can search for a space by setting the location, see pictures and descriptions entered by the owner of the space, evaluate based on the services offered and activities in the vicinity of the area, and book their own pitch.
The goal of the project is to create a thoughtful, intuitive, and inspiring website that supports new projects, brand values, and messaging. Not only that, the site must be optimized for strong search/localization and built using a state-of-the-art framework, all connected to a flexible content management system.

A fresh and modern visual design
It all starts with an excellent definition of the user interface and designing a clear user experience. We approached the design with two requirements in mind: the new layout must be modern, clear, and clean, and it must meet the quality standards and key habits of users in the industry.
A new aesthetic
With the key principles clear in mind, we began the process by experimenting with different layouts, redesigned from scratch the user experience, previously drowned by some navigability issues, and redesigned the interface, iconography, and navigation flows from search to checkout, inspired by the colors and feel of the nature and hiking-related industry.
Customized and redesigned software
A custom CMS redesigned from the ground up, optimized and cleaned of several bugs that were preventing proper use. Once the design was established, the development team began rewriting the code. Because the project incorporated search tools, interactive maps, and large photographs, we decided to use a React-based framework. As a result, the site loads quickly and provides the end user with an extremely smooth experience during navigation, the selection and purchase process, and interaction with various elements.
